Assessment leading to ILM Endorsed Certification:

Learners will have to submit a work-based assignment showing how they are going to apply the knowledge gained on projects they are currently responsible for managing by:

  • Identifying the required deliverables for each phase of the project’s life cycle
  • Selecting a single identified phase, and draw a 3-level work breakdown structure (WBS) highlighting the main work packages that need to be executed
  • For any work package within the WBS, list the activities that need to be accomplished, and present a detailed precedence diagram highlighting their inter-dependence

Learners should include discussing briefly how risk and/or uncertainty would be incorporated in planning the time and cost for one of the listed activities, and nominate appropriate performance indicators to ensure activity progress is being made according to execution plan.
